ABOUT LINDA HARMON

Linda Harmon is a Scobey small business leader, lifelong agriculture advocate, and conservative Republican running for the Montana House of Representatives in District 29, representing Daniels, Roosevelt, Sheridan, and Valley Counties.

Linda grew up on a northeast Montana farm and learned early what it means to work, contribute, and take responsibility. Through chores, 4 H, and strong rural community ties, she developed the steady, practical mindset she still brings to every challenge. She graduated from Antelope and went on to Montana State University, earning a bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, then built a career grounded in real world problem solving.

Linda and her husband Barry returned home to Scobey to help run a local John Deere business, Rasmus Nelson, Inc., which later became part of Prairie Ag Sales and Service. They also built Air Design, a Montana manufacturing company that produces tungsten carbide scrapers used in planters, disk drills, and air seeders. Linda served as marketing manager, representing Montana at farm shows across the country and at Made in Montana events. Today, Air Design continues as a family run business, with products sold across the United States and in multiple countries.

Linda has invested in Scobey’s future for years, including helping launch SAFI, the Scobey Alumni Foundation, to support major community projects such as the new gymnasium, commons area, and community running track. She has also been active in local Republican leadership, helping with Lincoln Reagan Day events, attending state conventions, and serving as an alternate delegate to the 2024 Republican National Convention.

In Helena, Linda will pursue a conservative agenda that follows the Constitution, defends the unborn, protects free speech and the Second Amendment, and reduces the size and cost of government so Montanans can keep more of what they earn. She will be a strong voice for agriculture and rural communities, and she will fight for the resource industries that power Montana’s economy. Linda Harmon is running to keep District 29 strong and keep Montana the Treasure State and the Last Best Place."
